Eine Veranstaltung im Rahmen des »Summer of Change«-Kulturfestivals Bonn
Description
The »Pastoral«, an ideal image of a beautiful landscape, conceived by Beethoven as an idyllic nature painting in music: can we hear this without commentary in the times of climate change? Between the symphony movements, the Ensemble Resonanz interposes excerpts from Kristine Tjøgersen’s Piano Concerto (2019). The work is based on sounds from the Norwegian forests; little by little, pianist Ellen Ugelvik plants miniature trees on the piano.
An event as part of the Summer of Change Cultural Festival, an initiative of the Federal City of Bonn in cooperation with Bundeskunsthalle and about 30 other cultural partners. More information on bonn.de/summer-of-change
