Make Way for Beethoven/at the Beethovenhalle

2026 gibt es erstmals ein Doppelevent – an den ersten beiden Samstagen des Festivals öffnen wir die Bühnen für alle Musikbegeisterten.

For many years now, we have been opening our stages to all children and young people in Bonn who have instrument lessons, or are part of school and music-school orchestras or choirs, at our opening party »Make Way for Beethoven«. This year, we would like to celebrate our return to the Beethovenhalle in style. Therefore, the big participatory concert will take place for the first time as »Make Way at the Beethovenhalle« with six stages on the second Saturday of the festival, both inside and outside the Beethovenhalle. In addition, on the opening Saturday, there will be an open-air stage on Bonn’s Marktplatz featuring musicians. As always, both events will be hosted by young people.

The musical programme is just as diverse as Bonn is as a city of music. Join in or come to listen – admission is free!

All young musical talents in Bonn can take part – registrations are coordinated by Solveig Palm from the LudwigvanB network. The deadline for registration for this major annual event is 31 May each year.
