Description
Elsa Artmann and her SANFTE ARBEIT collective set out in search of care relationships outside of heteronormative partnerhood and the nuclear family – for example between generations in queer lifestyles. For Life After Love, developed as part of the Beethovenfest Fellowship, the dancers look for gestures of affection in public spaces that defy romantic norms. Original pop songs are interspersed in the action, adding a dose of humour and, through the descriptive or poetic texts, offering people with visual impairments access to the dance performance.
