Annie Bloch (born 1994) is a Cologne-based organist, songwriter and composer. She studied music and English literature in Cork, Ireland, before going on to study composition and the organ in Cologne. As an organist, she performs solo and with various ensembles, focusing on improvisation. In her endeavour to open up new contexts for the church organ, she realises unconventional programmes such as »The Mendelssohn-Project« with Emily Wittbrodt, and the site-specific solo programme »Alone with the Organ« for the hyperorgan at the Kunst-Station Sankt Peter. As an indie folk artist, she has released the albums »Floors« and »When You Get Here« with the duo Annie & Mo. In her project »I DEPEND«, which will celebrate its album release in 2025, she creates song compositions for a ten-piece ensemble. As a composer and live performer, she collaborates with the dance company Sanfte Arbeit and with David Vogel at the Schauspiel Köln.
