Diana Treder is a freelance dancer and performer in Cologne. She studied at the Hub for dance and dance research at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln and also finished a master’s degree in scenic research at the Ruhr Universität Bochum. There she researched work and examined in »In der Arbeit zu Hause« via choreography, how delivery chains and processes of logistics can be tied back to dancing bodies.
As a dancer/performer she has participated in choreographies of the Krux Kollektiv, Darko Dragičević and Martin Sonderkamp, Ilona Pászthy and Kavitha Krishnan. Additionally, she performed in the exhibition »sound move« by Simone Forti. Treder also developed performative communication formats as performance introductions and for exhibitions in museums such as the Kunstmuseum Bonn, Tanzmuseum Köln and the Keramikmuseum Westerwald.
Since 2017, Diana Treder has been part of the ensemble Elsa Artmann/SANFTE ARBEIT. The shared artistic practice of many years between movement, language and singing as well as the interdisciplinary work between music, dance, video, text publications and aural features has accompanied and shaped her as a dance artist.
