Democracy Music Festival

We celebrate 75 years of federal German democracy together – there, where it all began, in Bonn’s government district. There will be short, eclectic concerts and talks at several historical democratic locations throughout the day – put your own programme together! Each event is under the theme of an article from Germany’s Basic Law. Even a spontaneous visit is worth it: Around the Platz der Vereinten Nationen, there are pop-up concerts, a sound installation and performance art to discover.

Families are cordially invited to the Bonner Universiätsforum for a family day of democracy with live music and interactive events – free of charge.

• Duration of all concerts: 60 minutes
• Tickets (on the 3.10. only), information and refreshments: Bonner Universitätsforum, 11:00–18:00
• Each event can be booked separately, price: Pay what you can (minium €5), ticket booking over Programme & Tickets or the ticket hotline

The headquarters of the Democracy Music Festival is located in the inner courtyard of the Bonn University Forum. Here we have set up an information stand with a ticket office for all day events. You will also find a culinary offer here. In addition to delicious waffles and refreshing drinks, the popular »Pie Me« from Endenich and the Fred coffee wheel will be available!
