Vacant for a long time, the former Endenicher Ballsaal became a public space again in the mid-1990s through the commitment of a Bonn theatre collective and with the support of the owner. Since then, the Theater im Ballsaal has existed as the only independent theatre in Bonn.

This venue is not barrier-free for wheelchair users.
There is no barrier-free toilet.
