The concert at a glance
Description
»Holy song of thanksgiving of a convalescent to the Deity« – Beethoven’s slow movement from his late String Quartet Op. 132 is music about life. Choreographer Amos Ben-Tal injects movement into the spaces of this dense work. The Ragazze Quartet plays the movement in a fractured form and distributed around the space. Beethoven’s music is interspersed with Salvador Breed’s electronic sounds.
In cooperation with Bundeskunsthalle
Executive producers: Naomi Russell and Roland Spekle
