Yuhao Guo studied piano in Cologne. As a first prize winner of numerous competitions, Guo has given concerts in the major concert halls of Europe and the USA with leading orchestras.

In addition to solo and chamber music activities, he is also the musical director of various projects of the Opernwerkstatt am Rhein. His recording of Schubert’s »Winterreise« with Benjamin Hewat-Craw was nominated for the Opus Klassik 2021.

As a composer, he has written works for solo piano, chamber music and songs, inspired by his work with Manfred Trojahn and Johannes Schild.
