Description
With its name, the Isidore String Quartet honours Isidore Cohen, the former violinist of the legendary Juilliard String Quartet – and carries this outstanding tradition into the present. For their Bonn debut, the four Americans are bringing along two works from their homeland, including a brand new quartet by Billy Childs, with whom they have been closely associated for years. And their flawless playing brings out the best in the classics by Haydn and Mendelssohn also featured on the programme.
