Soprano Scarlett Pulwey, born in Siegburg, will be a permanent member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Regensburg starting in the 2023/24 season. In 2019/20 she was a choral academist with the WDR Rundfunkchor and sang various concerts, including at the Elbphilharmonie. At the Theater Bonn, she took on the roles of Bergère and Fledermaus for the production »L’enfant et les sortilèges« as well as assistant director alongside Jens Kerbel.
In cooperation with Bobbys Klassik and the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn she took on various solo roles such as the Piper in John Rutter’s »Piper of Hamlin« or the title role of »Amahl and the Night visitors« by Gian Carlo Menotti. In 2014 she began her studies in German and Musicology at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in classical singing and music education at the Cologne University of Music and Dance and will complete her Master’s degree in »Music Theatre« this semester.
