Kalyan Pande started learning tabla at the age of five. He is a disciple of his father Shri. Girish Pande and Padmashree Taalyogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkar. He completed his Masters in Music (Tabla) and Tabla Alankar with Gandharva Mahavidyalay.

He received the CCRT Junior & Senior Scholarship for Tabla from the Government of India and was awarded by All India Radio. In Europe, he has performed at Beethovenfest Bonn, Global Media Forum Germany and Spain Music Festival among others. He has played with some of the greats of Indian classical music, such as Kathak exponent Pt. Birju Maharaj and Smt. Kaushiki Chakraborty. He has been teaching worldwide online and offline in Pune and Nasik for several years.
