Isaiah Oladele Odeyale is an accomplished Nigerian trombonist, music educator, and arranger, recognized for his versatility across classical, jazz, and Afro genres. His musical journey began in his childhood, developing early through choir participation and formal music training, where he gained strong foundations in sight-reading and performance. Isaiah’s passion for the trombone led him through years of professional tutelage, where he cultivated a rich, expressive style inspired by European classical traditions and renowned German conductors.
His career highlights include serving as Brass Section Leader of the prestigious Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON) Symphony Orchestra, interpreting celebrated works likeMozart’s »The Magic Flute«, Handel’s »Messiah«, and Haydn’s »The Creation«. As an arranger, Isaiah has contributed his expertise in adapting and creating musical arrangements that blend classical, jazz, and Afro influences. His dynamic performance career extends to collaborations with renowned orchestras, jazz ensembles, and internationally touring bands. As a core member of BANTU, he has embraced Afro music traditions and performed on stages across the world.
