Description
»No matter where you go, the important places of your life will always be close to you«, says Lisa Batiashvili about her programme »City Lights«. Our Artist-in-Residence portrays her favourite cities with the violin, starting with her native Tbilisi and traveling via Vienna, Berlin, Paris, and Helsinki to New York, Buenos Aires, and beyond. With new arrangements for violin and orchestra from classical, jazz, chanson, and film music and enhanced by video projections, she tells her personal story.
