Description
The New York ensemble Alarm Will Sound inspires like no one else with energetic new music – for which it earned a Grammy in 2026. For them, Beethovenfest Fellow Brittany J. Green will compose an new piece. Enhanced with video art and text collages, it tells the story of the android Eye, who tries to break out of his predetermined path. It will be heard alongside other contemporary works from the USA.
Alarm Will Sound’s engagement is supported in part by Mid Atlantic Arts through USArtists International, a program in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and the Trust for Mutual Understanding.
