The concert at a glance
Description
The ensemble CONTINUUM sleepwalks through a span of 400 years. The musicians alternately intertwine Claudio Monteverdi’s sensorial, richly coloured »Marienvesper« with the »Vespers for a New Dark Age« (2014) by the American composer Missy Mazzoli. In these two spiritual works, the evening confronts the technological present with the age-old questions of the meaning of humanity and togetherness.
