The concert at a glance
Description
Our opening concert has never been so diverse: In addition to brilliant piano playing by Giorgi Gigashvili and an impressive concert melodrama by Luisa Neubauer, the Kammerakademie Potsdam with rising star Elim Chan at the stand brings a breath of fresh air to the Opera Bonn. At the start, the marching band MEUTE heats things up with acoustic techno beats on brass instruments. In parallel, Kammerakademie and MEUTE perform in reverse order free of charge outside on the Münsterplatz. A radically democratic opening concert for a Beethovenfest which celebrates togetherness.
After the concert, we invite you to celebrate in the Opera Bonn foyer! Music will be provided by our Fellow Giorgi Gigashvili and his band Giorgi, Nini & Nikala:
Giorgi Gigashvili piano
Nini Nutsubidze voice
Nikala Zubiashvili live electronics
Concert recording by WDR
