Description
With her Lisa Batiashvili Foundation, the Georgian violinist wants to give something back to the young talents of her homeland. Together with three scholarship holders, including composer prodigy Tsotne Zedginidze, she presents chamber music in her residency finale. The up-and-coming artists and their mentor are bringing along rarities, including an early piano trio by Mendelssohn and music by Josef Bardanashvili – together with enduring hits like Piazzolla’s Le Grand Tango.
