Description
Beethoven’s string quartets are brimming with ingenuity and present all four instruments with unprecedented challenges. In the second part of the cycle, our ensemble-in-residence builds a bridge from the composer’s First Quartet to the less-frequently-heard Opus 74, known as the »Harp« Quartet for its plucked theme, and the energetic third work from Opus 59.
