What is special about the concert?
Piano trios on the concert stage are often short-term collaborations between soloists – not so with the Sitkovetsky Trio: Alexander Sitkovetsky, Isang Enders and Wu Qian work intensively together as a trio and bring their audience chamber music of the highest level.
How does it sound?
Description
One new discovery, framed by two of the most important piano trios of the canon. The Swedish composer, organist and conductor Elfrida Andrée (1841–1929) fought for women’s rights and produced symphonic and chamber music works. Her Piano Trio No. 2 of 1883 finds the perfect balance between Romantic song and energetic movement.
