Description
Kit Armstrong is a welcome guest in Bonn. Following his excellent performance at the last Beethovenfest, he now returns with the long-standing duo partner Claire Huangci. Meeting and parting are the themes of the evening on two pianos. At the centre is Beethoven’s »Marcia funebre«, a piece of funeral music for a mysterious hero – the slow movement from the Third Symphony, arranged for two pianos.
