Giorgi Gigashvili is a fascinating cross-border commuter: Between the nightclubs in Tbilisi and international concert stages, he finds his musical path. At the start of his fellowship concerts at Beethovenfest, he pursues his love for the Georgian musical tradition. Folkloric piano works of the 20th century encounter his own folk pop songs in the duo with bandmate Nini Nutsubidze.
Please note that the concert will be recorded as a video and then published on the internet. Due to the audience arrangement, it is possible that you will be seen in the concert video.
The Fellowship Programme is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the city of Bonn
