Description
To conclude the opening week of the Beethoven Hall, the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn will perform the first concert in its »Pure« series, featuring Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5. During this workshop-style concert, GMD Dirk Kaftan and dramaturge Tilmann Böttcher will discuss the iconic symphony and its impact on the history of music. Using musical examples, they will re-examine the seemingly familiar »ta-ta-ta-ta-ta« and encourage the audience to re-listen before the symphony is performed in its entirety.
