Description
The Bamberg symphony orchestra is often associated with a Bohemian sound. This might be due to its (geographical and historical) proximity to Czechia, but also to its principal conductor Jakub Hrůša. The ideal partner for resident artist Isabelle Faust in Dvořák’s violin concerto, which she has especially enjoyed playing ever since her career started. Beethoven’s Fifth crowns the evening with one of the most triumphant finales in orchestral literature.
