A workshop for theatre makers and all stage enthusiasts
Building bridges
Movement, gestures, sound and visualisation for an inclusive stage experience

The workshop will explore the diverse artistic possibilities that arise from the combination of gestures, movement, sound and visualisation.
Led by the two Un-Label artists Max Schweder and Dodzi Dougban, proven digital tools will be presented and applied to enable new forms of sound visualisation in contexts of theatre and installations. At the same time, we will immerse ourselves in the fascinating world of sign language and the visual expressiveness of Visual Vernacular, which is not only inspiring but can also lead to a barrier-free language of movement on stage.
Movements are transformed into sounds, sounds into images. For one day, a practice-orientated overview will be created and impulses for the aesthetic possibilities of the artistic coupling of digitality and access will be generated in order to create an inclusive stage experience for deaf and hearing people.
