Description
In 2023, Zhouhui Shen won third prize at Bonn’s Telekom Beethoven Competition – including an explosive interpretation of the »Hammerklavier« Sonata. The Chinese pianist combines Beethoven’s most complex sonata with gentle Romantic miniatures. She is also bringing along a work from her home country by composer Chen Yi, who was inspired by traditional dances of the Dong ethnic group.
