Description
With his solo programme »This is America!«, Johnny Gandelsman will be making an appearance in the moated castle of Adendorf and bringing exciting contrasts to the historic site. During the coronavirus period, the violinist asked twenty US-based composers to write new works for him – in this way creating a multifaceted anthology of today’s America. He combines parts of it with two Cello Suites by Bach arranged for violin.
