Barrier-free access is
- Regular access to the building (at ground level, no electronic doors)
- Further access by lift directly from the Opera House car park (see below)

Lifts
- Available: Directly behind the main entrance in the box office vestibule.
- Opera hall only accessible by lift.
- Only entrance B is barrier-free – there is access to the wheelchair spaces in rows 20 and 21.
- Opera admission staff are available to accompany you in the lift

Ramps
- Not available

Barrier-free WC
- Is available, ground floor by the cloakrooms
- If coming from the hall, accessible by lift

Barrier-free journey: Car

Disabled parking facilities
- Directly at the venue: In the opera car park on the upper parking level near the lift
- The lift takes visitors directly to the ground floor of the opera (box office vestibule), from here another lift must be taken to the foyer (entrance B)

Entrance and exit from the car directly at the venue entrance
- Is possible (halt on the street Am Boeselagerhof)

Barrier-free journey: public transport

Barrier-free stops
- Bertha-von-Suttner-Platz/ Beethovenhaus (tram lines 66, 67, 62, 65, various buses; taxi ranks) – distance 150m
- Brüdergasse/ Bertha-von-Suttner-Platz (bus lines SB 60, 529, 537, 540, 550, 551, 600–203, 606–609, 640, 117) – distance 350m
