The event at a glance
Description
This year’s motto »Alles ultra« comes from a letter Johann Wolfgang von Goethe wrote to the composer Carl Friedrich Zelter exactly two hundred years ago, in which he spoke about feeling overwhelmed in the face of an increasingly complicated world. Experts from the fields of philosophy, cultural studies, and music discuss social crises then and now – and the possibilities of art. Anna-Lena Elbert and Amadeus Wiesensee will also present music by Zelter, Schubert, and others.
In cooperation with the Institute for Philosophy at the University of Bonn
