Description
»Alliage« is the French word for alloy: the reference here is to the lustrous brass of the saxophone, as well as to the combination of the saxophone family and the piano of this unique ensemble. Cellist Alban Gerhardt blends into the sound. This unusual instrumental line-up performs symphonic masterpieces from Baroque to the modern age in brilliant arrangements – a laid-back classical evening in Straßenbahnhalle Dransdorf.
