Description
The room-filling sounds intertwine hypnotically, mysteriously – Brìghde Chaimbeul is a virtuoso of the Scottish smallpipes, a warmer version of the bagpipes. Together with the Maxwell Quartet, she discovers connections between the flowing musical language of Philip Glass and the rhythmic patterns of Celtic traditional music.
