Cellist Kian Soltani

In this episode of bee.contemporary, artistic director Steven Walter talks to cellist Kian Soltani. He began playing the cello at the age of four and has been enjoying a meteoric career since 2017 at the latest. He is an exclusive artist with Deutsche Grammophon and has already performed in all the major European concert halls as a ‘Rising Star’.
This August, he will make his debut at the Beethovenfest – with two concerts: with the Deutsche Symphony-Orchester Berlin and a »Symphonic Mob« on the market square in Bonn.
But the podcast is not only about Soltani's passion for the cello and his enthusiasm for his programme. His choice of instrument, his passion for PlayStation gaming and his hobbies outside of music are also discussed.
