The Campus Project, an international youth project of Beethovenfest and Deutsche Welle, is focusing on Nigeria this year. In Lagos and Bonn, members of the the National Youth Orchestra of Germany and young musicians from Nigeria meet the Afrobeat band BANTU to make music together. Under the direction of Ade Bantu, they create a cross-cultural concert where Beethoven meets Nigerian musical tradition and the country’s current musical trends in pop culture.
