The Carstanjen Mausoleum has been a Christian burial site since summer 2007. This unique cultural monument on the Rhine is considered an incomparably dignified place for the burial of urns. The burial site is surrounded by an idyllic park and offers an unobstructed view of the Rhine. The mausoleum is owned by the Von Carstanjen Foundation, a sub-foundation of the Bürgerstiftung Rheinviertel. The burial site itself is managed by the Catholic parish of St. Andreas and Evergislus.
