Professor Dr. Dr. Udo Di Fabio, born in Walsum in 1954, is a senior professor for public law at the University of Bonn, a member of the Nordrhein-Westfälische Akademie der Wissenschaften und Künste, director of the Forschungskolleg normative Gesellschaftsgrundlagen in Bonn and a former judge of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany. Apart from his occupation as a judge and professor at different universities, he has published numerous books and other works, such as the book »Verfeindlichung. Demokratien am Ende des freundlichen Zeitalters« in 2026. He lives in Bonn with his family.
