Tina Jücker, born in 1962 in Piesport, is an actress, theatre pedagogue (BUT) and director. After studying social education, she worked as managing director of the Bundesverband Studentische Kulturarbeit e. V. from 1989 to 1992. In 1993, she founded the Marabu Theatre as artistic co-director with its own venue in the Brotfabrik cultural centre in Bonn.
From 2006 to 2011, Tina Jücker was a guest lecturer at the Remscheid Academy and since 2020 she has been a board member of the supporting association Traumpalast e. V. of the Brotfabrik cultural centre. In addition to her work as an actress and director, Tina Jücker is primarily responsible for project concepts at the Marabu Theatre and for developing and supporting new formats.
Theatre Marabu has received numerous awards for its productions as well as for its artistic work with young talent, including the ASSITEJ Prize (2015) and the Inthega Prize (2015).
