In 2011, Sven Gey graduated with an Artist Diploma from the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen. During his studies he was engaged already at theatres like the Schauspielhaus Bochum and the Grillo Theater Essen. From 2012 to 2014, he was a member of the ensemble at the Theater St. Gallen. Since 2014, he has been working as a freelance actor and played at the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf, the Volkstheater Wien and the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater Hamburg. Additionally, he develops plays in the independent scene and appears in film and television.
