During the 2025/26 season, she will perform the world premieres of three new concertos for Hardanger fiddle and orchestra, written by Kim André Arnesen, Gordon Hamilton, and Ola Kvernberg. Through these performances, she is pursuing her artistic mission to expand the repertoire and stylistic range of the Hardanger fiddle. As a soloist, she has performed with renowned orchestras including the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, the Residentie Orkest Den Haag, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra. She has performed at prestigious venues including the Kennedy Center in Washington, the Tonhalle Zurich, the Beethovenfest Bonn, the Risør Chamber Music Festival, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, the Musée d’Orsay, and the Mariinsky Concert Hall in St. Petersburg.
On her latest albums, released by Berlin Classics, she usually plays both instruments. In 2021, she received the Opus Klassik Award in the Classical Music Without Borders category for her album Røta (»Roots«). Her recording of Grieg’s stage music for Peer Gynt, arranged for violin and Hardanger fiddle and performed with the Trondheim Soloists, was very successful on digital platforms. Vetra (»Winter«), released in 2023, contains lesser-known pieces from her home region of Valdres, as well as her own compositions. The following year, she released The Norwegian Seasons, an adaptation of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons for Hardanger fiddle, which she recorded with the Norwegian baroque ensemble Barokkanerne. In April 2026, she will release the album Unbound, recorded with her folk-jazz ensemble Vetra, which showcases her stylistic diversity.
