As a soloist and chamber musician, Nicolai Gerassimez has established himself as one of the leading pianists of his generation. Despite his young age, he has already achieved many musical successes and highlights. Solo concerts and recitals have taken him to the most prestigious music centres in Europe and the USA. He has also appeared as a soloist with renowned orchestras such as the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, the Essen Philharmonic, the Berlin Symphony Orchestra and the Bochum Symphony Orchestra, working with conductors such as Kristjan Järvi.
