Merle Krafeld trained as a sound engineer in Cologne and worked for clients including WDR3 and Die Sendung mit der Maus. After studying music education and history in Berlin and Bucharest, she now leads seminars on musicology and music journalism and works as an editor for the online magazine VAN.
