Marlene Unterfenger is a performing artist in the fields of music, video art and theatre. She will graduate in the summer of 2027 with a master’s degree in new music singing from the HFM Dresen and the HKB Bern. Unterfenger received a stipend from the TONALi-Bühnenakademie Hamburg. Her work is rooted in a transdisciplinary process-oriented approach which often follows atmospheric narratives and establishes feminist priorities. Participative and changing collaborations are an important part of her projects. With her work and performances, Marlene Unterfenger was a guest at the Theater Braunschweig, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, the Kunstpalast, the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf and the Staatliche Kunstsammlung Dresden.
