After successfully completing her cello studies at the Academy of Music in Wrocław, Ewa Bogusz-Moore obtained her Master’s degree in Arts Management at the University of London and became a leading figure in the promotion of Polish music in the UK and later worldwide.
She first worked for the Polish Cultural Institute in London and then as Deputy Director of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute. As Director of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice (2018), she led a comprehensive modernization of the institution and became the second woman ever to be admitted to the European Concert Hall Organization, of which she has been Co-Chair since 2019.
Ewa Bogusz-Moore is Chair of the Board of the European Union Youth Orchestra, Clore Leadership Fellow, Jury Chair of the first international competition for female conductors La Maestra in Paris, member of the programme committees of numerous music festivals and initiator of original artistic concepts.
From August 2025, Ewa Bogusz-Moore will take over the directorship of the Kölner Philharmonie and the management of KölnMusik Betriebs- und Servicegesellschaft.
