The Italian-American pianist Elenora Pertz is a multi-faceted musician whose playing has been described as »magnificent and with endless subtlety«. Elenora has performed extensively in venues such as Wigmore Hall, Berliner Philharmonie, Heidelberger Frühling, Tanglewood Festival, Musée d’Orsay and Oxford Song Festival. Her singing partners include Valerie Eickhoff, Julian Prégardien, Jeeyoung Lim and Äneas Humm.

Elenora has recorded solo, art song and chamber music repertoire for labels such as Solo Musica, Ars Musica, Hänssler Classics and B Records and has performed live on France Musique and SWR. In 2026, she released her debut solo album TERRA, which connects the piano to the element earth. In her art and projects she strives for both expertise and authenticity, highlighting the universality of classical music for those intimidated by its perceived exclusivity.

As an opera pianist she has worked at the Salzburger Festspiele, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden and all of the Berlin opera houses with conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Esa-Pekka Salonen and Joana Mallwitz. She has a long-standing collaboration with chamber singers Brigitte Fassbaender and Marlis Petersen, teaching alongside them at the Eppaner Liedsommer, Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival and Richard Strauss Festival.

Since the winter semester of 2023/24, Elenora has been teaching the art song class (Liedgestaltung) at the Hochschule für Künste in Bremen. In 2021, Elenora founded the non-profit Lied the Way e. V. whose goal is to connect and empower women in the art song community, and to raise awareness of the glass ceiling for female art song pianists in the industry.
