Demian Kappenstein released his first solo album »WEIT«, a suite for percussion, electronics and photography about travels to Mozambik, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Pakistan, India, Lebanon and Taiwan. Other than a common drum set, his instrumentarium consists of collected junk objects as well as manipulated children’s toys and household objects. He is also touring with his duo Ätna.
