Dalia Stasevska has established herself as a commanding musical voice, a boundary-pushing innovator, and a fearless activist and advocate for change. She holds the post of the Principal Guest Conductor of the BBC Symphony Orchestra and appears with leading orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic, Berliner Philharmonikern, Orchestre National de France and the Česká filharmonie.
A passionate opera conductor, she has conducted at Glyndebourne, Finnish National Opera, and Norske Opera. Her debuts include Los Angeles Opera with Philip Glass’s Akhnaten and Deutsche Oper Berlin with Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and is engaged by leading opera houses including the Metropolitan Opera and Royal Opera House in London.
She was named »European of the Year« by European Voice in 2025, recognized for promoting European values and democracy. Her honours include BBC Music Magazine’s »Personality of the Year«, the Alfred Kordelin Prize, the Royal Philharmonic Society’s Conductor Award, and the Order of Princess Olga from Ukraine.
