Carolina Schrage leads the department for homeless assistance of the Caritasverband für die Stadt Bonn e. V. She studied social work in Cologne and finished her extra-occupational master’s degree as a social manager in 2021. Before her occupation as the head of section, she was a social worker in homeless assistance as well as in a business consultancy firm for organisations and services of geriatric care and integration aid.

In her current role, Schrage is mainly responsible for the strategic and operative development of homeless assistance. It is a special cause for her to bring the subject of homelessness more into the public eye, to sensitise for the situation of unhoused people and to work against prevailing stigmatisation.
