The mezzo soprano Carlotta Lipski understands music as an opportunity for connecting people via stories, emotions and shared experiences. She studied under Christiane Libor, Stephan Klemm and Hanno Müller-Brachmann at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe and lives there now as a freelance singer. She works on opera productions, concert formats and self-conceived, interdisciplinary music theatre projects.

Concerts and engagements have brought her to the detect classic festival, the Elbphilharmonie, the Theater Heidelberg, the Badische Staatstheater Karlsruhe and the Oper am Rhein. Apart from her work on-stage she develops her own concert and performance formats, among them the feminist song programme »ARE WOMEN PEOPLE?« and »: POINT OF NO RETURN«, a performance discussing climate change. Carlotta Lipski is first award winner of the #Liedinnovation of the Rhonefestival and received a stipend from the Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg, the programme #MusikerZukunft of the Deutsche Orchester-Stiftung and the TONALi Bühnenakademie.
