Ana Dordevic, originally from Belgrad, is an internationally renowned dance solo performer, whose professional spectrum spans from classical ballet to contemporary dance. Her professional career began at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich as well as the Theater Dortmund, before she came to the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf as a soloist and later danced central roles at the Theater Augsburg. Since 2016, she has been working as a freelance artist. She takes on solo and main roles at the Deutsche Oper Berlin as well as the Komische Oper Berlin and works with directors such as Ersan Mondag, Rolando Villazón and Tobias Kratzer. Parallelly to this, she is active in the independent dance scene and dedicates herself to contemporary performances and interdisciplinary projects.

Her repertoire includes works by Jiří Kylián, William Forsythe, Christian Spück and many others. She dances main roles in classical productions like Cinderella and Romeo and Juliet, as well as in contemporary creations and original performances. In recent years, she has worked with choreographers like Caroline Beach, Boris Radzio and Rob Fordeyn.

Apart from her work as a dancer, Ana is a choreographer, curator and cultural manager. She is the managing director of FRAMED Berlin, a non-profit organisation with a multidisciplinary curatorial approach that creates spaces for the exchange of different and sometimes opposed artistic perspectives. Through the production of dance performances, events and concerts, she connects choreography, curatorial practice and management to an integrative artistic profile.

Ana has a master’s degree in cultural and media management from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg. Her dance education was completed at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München, with the Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung, at the Académie de Danse Princesse Grace in Monaco as well as at the conservatorium »Lujo Davico« in Belgrad.
