Berlin-based trombonist Alistair Duncan was born in 1991 on the beautiful west coast of Scotland. He studied trombone, jazz and contemporary music at the Eastman School of Music with Mark Kellogg from 2009–13 and composition with John Hollenbeck and trombone with Geoffroy de Masure at the Jazz Institut Berlin since 2014. In addition to his versatile artistic activities, he is a lecturer for jazz trombone at the University of Music and Theatre in Munich.
