»Listening to music is like traveling through space and time – as a composer, I design this space in which the listeners move.« Inspired by minimal music, interior design, art, and dance, Turkish pianist Büşra Kayıkçı began composing as a way to counterbalance the isolation during the years of the coronavirus pandemic. Her longing for distant places found expression in her works for prepared and electronically amplified piano.
